Mark D. Rucker’s appearance on NBC’s The Today Show with nutritionist Joy Bauer, where he shared his 130 pound weightloss journey and was inducted into the Joy Fit Club for his lifestyle change.
In February 2011, at the age of 42, I weighed 385 pounds. I had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and was borderline diabetic. My life was out of control and I was on a downward spiral. I knew that if I didn’t make some serious changes soon that I wouldn’t make it to see 50. This video tells the story of my journey to change my life and my transformation from a 385 pound Couch Potato to an Ironman.
I believe that each of us has the power within us to change any aspect of our lives. And I know that if I can change my life then so can you. You just have to believe in yourself.
I hope my story gives you hope, encourages you to believe in yourself, and inspires you to make those changes.
Thank you for watching.
